No. You do not have to purchase DEW products to interact with DEWGothamCity.com, but it's a great way to earn points and gain deeper access within the site. You must register at DEWGothamCity.com to enter codes, redeem points for gear, enter any of the sweepstakes or collect badges.
Codes are available on specially-marked packages of Mountain Dew. Point totals are as follows:

2-liter bottle: 1 point

There are also two Pongr integrations on DEWGothamCity.com that invite users to upload photos to receive points. Each activity is worth 5 points, for a maximum of 10 total points (1 codes for each environment engagement).
Or head to your local participating foodservice location and find a fountain cup from DEW and The Dark Knight Rises. Follow directions on the cup and text/email a picture to get one additional point.

Pongr is an image recognition website. There are two Pongr integrations on DEWGothamCity.com that invite users to upload photos in return for both points and badges. One badge and five (5) points will be awarded for a photo upload to the villain gallery within the Gotham City Police Department. Users must dress up as a villain from The Dark Knight Rises and take a photo, then email that photo to [email protected] with #DEWVillain included in the subject or body of the email. No subsequent badges or points will be awarded for additional photo uploads.
One additional badge and five (5) points can also be earned from participation in the Convenience gallery within the Gotham City Convenience environment. Users must find Mountain Dew /The Dark Knight Rises point-of-sale materials at participating locations and take a picture, then email that picture to [email protected] with #DEWStop included in the subject or body of the email. No subsequent badges will be awarded for additional photo uploads.

No. You can download and share your GCPD Mugshot, but it will not be shared anywhere on the website or on any social media profile you have linked with the site.
Your photo will be placed immediately in the gallery on Pongr.com. Select photos will be included in the gallery on www.DEWGothamCity.com.
Yes. You may only redeem one of each type of Gear item, for a total of nine (9) items. Gear will be available in limited numbers and will be introduced one (1) item per week for a period of eight (8) weeks.
